This weekend Tom Johnson and I will be making the trek out Pittsburg to play for an annual Halloween Costume party and then on to Orca Sound Studios to wrap up a short Christmas EP. We have several singer-songwriter gigs coming up and we are introducing Swim Skinny Acoustic...youre going to love this!! With the rising price of the very large and funky Swim Skinny Band, we are looking to fill the price gap with a 4 piece mostly original acoustic version of what we do. Kathy Macchia Simmons and Scott Simmons are joining us for a handful of shows the fall and winter. So far, the sound has been amazing, much like that of our roots. More than any other, THIS project is one that turns ME on due the the strong emphasis on the ART of what we do. 2 weekends ago we shared a dose of it at a historical farm site near Kokomo, Indiana and were stunned by the response. Keep your eyes peeled for Swim Skinny Acoustic...youre gonna dog it!! The new Christmas album will warm your hearts too...were going to take you back home for Christmas...at my mothers house!!
