One interesting takeaway from two straight days with an Oral Argument in the Second District Court of Appeal: Six appellate judges thought it perfectly appropriate for me to be citing Orders from circuit court judges in my briefs where the law on those issues was evolving on the appellate court level. If circuit court Orders are acceptable for appellate judges, then they should certainly be acceptable for other circuit court judges. Blue box, youre sticking with me.
