One month ago today, my Debbie, the love of my life, transitioned to the world of the angels and other heavenly spirits. As I am reorganizing my life, I am keenly aware of the following: 1. I am grateful to Debbie for loving me and allowing me to love her. I so appreciate her being a part of my journey and my being a part of the last leg of her journey here. It was my heartbreaking privilege. 2. I am forever indebted to the Universal Creator for allowing my path to cross Debbies and for allowing us to connect and remain connected, on both this side of the page and on the other side of the page. 3. My grandmother and my sister-friends are my rocks and stand strong with me no matter what the circumstances. They are truly angels in disguise and know who they are. My love for these 3 women is eternal. I thank them for their support and care during Debbies struggle and during her final moments with me. 4. Everything in life can change in a moment and things are forever different. There is one exception in my opinion. Love. Love does not change and continues despite our different mailing addresses. I expect that I will love someone else on an intimate level again but that will never detract from the love Debbie and I had and continue to share. and 5. The Universe is always right. That does not mean that we go through life without scrapes, wounds, and scars. It just means that Universe is always helping us grow to fulfill our divinely-inspired missions while we are here in physical form. As Janis Ian wrote and sang, Life is never wrong.
