One month update: Its been a month and I am thankful for the prayer offered on my behalf - and for the kind words/messages, meals, visits, lawn mowing and firewood (which will come in handy tonight.) Last Thursday I felt like I turned a corner somewhat and noticed more energy than Id had since entering the hospital in Kalamazoo on 3/14. Yesterday I visited the hematologist who informed me I will likely remain on Coumadin indefinitely. Otherwise, he was very positive that the clots in my legs pose no further threat as once they scar over they stay put. The blood thinner will prevent further clots from forming. The hematologist will consult with my primary Dr. and unless something happens I probably wont see him again. Today I visited the urologist. He is also pleased with my progress from a secondary problem that occurred at the same time. Also today I walked over a mile and like last Thursday fell like Ive continued turning that corner. The shortness of breath is improved as is my stamina. If this continues I believe I am on my way to a full recovery! Carol and I are disappointed to have missed some recent events, but we are looking forward be being back on the road in a couple of weeks! Thanks to my reenacting family, my church family and my family family for the love and concern youve expressed over the past month!!!! I remain, your servant &c. Frank
