(WATE) - A weak, slow moving cold front will continue to slowly - TopicsExpress

(WATE) - A weak, slow moving cold front will continue to slowly slide southeast across the region today allowing some drier air to filter in through the late afternoon/evening hours. Until the front makes it through the region though, there will be at least a small chance of a random shower or pop-up storms, although the coverage looks to be only around 20% of the forecast area. Things look quiet tonight under a mostly clear sky, which will allow temperatures to dip down into the low-mid 60s in most areas. Sunshine, seasonal temperatures and slightly less humid air is on tap for Friday as high pressure slides into the region and this will try to hold on all weekend. It looks partly cloudy and warm Saturday, with most are dry again, but by Sunday, we see a more southerly flow allowing warmer and more humid air to filter back in. This means a few pop-up storms will be possible, but the majority of the region still looks dry. Rain and storms look more likely by the first of the week as yet another cold front will slide into the area.
