One more day of high humidity will be over us today as a cold - TopicsExpress

One more day of high humidity will be over us today as a cold front tracks through the area. This front will bring some showers and thunderstorms, some of which may have gusty winds and even some hail (especially the far eastern counties in the state), but most will have some lightning and some brief heavy rainfall. Most of us will have less than a quarter of an inch of rain, but it will mark the start of a break in the oppressive heat and humidity. Highs will be in the upper 80s in the north to the mid 90s in the south with heat indices still climbing into the 90s to near 100, especially in the southern half of the KWWL viewing area. We will “cool” to the 80s for tomorrow with only the mid to upper 70s for Sunday as a secondary cool front tracks through. With the breakdown of the dome of high pressure, we will get into a rather active weather pattern for next week with several fronts tracking through or near the viewing area. We will have a chance of showers and storms each day beginning Saturday night. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s, but will also depend on the timing of the storms each day.
