One of Cumbria sabs best days out against the Ullswater 25.2.2012. Four of us caught them out after theyd ran a fox to ground on Glenridding Screes, Sheffield Pike. The constant yapping that can be heard throughout the video is that of a Patterdale terrier which has a fox cornered underground. Our arrival at the scene threw the hunt into a panic, they immediately employed the use of whips to force hounds away. However, despite their efforts the hounds remained unresponsive as theyre not used to being whipped off. Also note the huntsman and support were watching events unfold from the ridge of Sheffield Pike, NT land, but did nothing to intervene. The police, whod been present earlier in the day when a sab was assaulted, were phoned but surprise surprise failed to attend the scene.
