One of my New Year resolutions is to do more to help Minneapolis, and other cities, keep coming back from the horrible things we did to cities in the 50s and 60s. Check out these maps that show the impact freeways had on some cities, including Minneapolis. When you see the part of Minneapolis where that massive interchange rips up the connection between the U/WestBank and downtown, know that good news is on the way with Samatar Crossing and the proposed lid over the freeway reconnecting our city back.
