One of my all time favourite marathons. Stunning South Downs scenery, tough hills and a nice mix of grass and stony trails with very little tarmac. I dont remember many flat sections. Trail running at its best! Very well marshalled and easy to follow route. Great support at the 11 water/food stations and especially the cheering down the finishing straight. Then cake and a shower (free) followed by a massage (for a donation) I hung around for an hour after that and every runner crossing the finishing line was smiling! Dont change a thing.
