One of my better moon shots using a 2x converter which I normally do not get having to guess with my eye site.. Captured this one on 7/7/14. One of the clearest nights I have had. Great atmosphere conditions to show more detail. Canon 7D, 100-400L @ 400mm, 2x converter = 800mm, plus the 1.6 crop factor = a total focal length of 1280mm; did I loose anyone? :) 1/60sec, f/11, iso100, Manual mode, partial metering, tripod used with a cable shutter release and mirror lockup.
