One of my biggest questions. I know God is not created. Created speaks of time and God is outside of time. And I know if there was a Big Bang, He was the impetus for it. I know also the explosion we know as the Universe has never stopped creating, nor has it run out of fuel or slowed down. Instead its moving faster. But when was the (moment) which can not be fathomed because we are creatures of time and therefore doesnt exist when God became God. Evidently He questioned it because in Isaiah He says He looked around and found no other rock beside Himself. And another question. Jesus said no man at any time has seen God. Paul states He dwells in the light no man can approach. He also said once whether in the body or not he was called up to Heaven. And he stated that it was his character that was the reason for His being called up. It says that in the Greek text but is not translated in most versions. The question: All these folks say they have been to Heaven and seen the Father. The counsel of scripture makes me doubt that. Could they be just trying to sell a book? God dwells outside of time and the universe and when He steps into time, the Earth and Heavens flee from His face. What a powerful being! I think we live in a time when we need to depend on the Word and not visions that men have supposedly had. I have a near photographic memory. Most if not all of what I see people prophesy about future events never happen in the time frame they say. And prophets of old were way more specific and 100% accurate. I would place my bets on them and not the TBN crowd.
