One of my boys has never been terribly interested in formal lessons, and though I encourage him to do some, Im not terribly concerned with making him to do more than he feels comfortable with. He would rather play, observe, listen, explore, ask questions, and play some more. He loves learning, just on his own terms. Today I got his annual NC required testing results back and see that he scored in the 98th percentile for his grade level. Carry on little dude, carry on... ;)
