One of my dear friends was discussing her father who use to be a dem who converted to a republican like so many conservative dems in my family and life. I responded and one of her friends requested I posted it on my status. Thank you. where im from are or were a lot of comservative democrats. Carter pushed for energy independence and wanted coal to reach a billion tons a year. His administration gave grants and loans to coal and oil. His administration knew the biggest threat was our dependence on fuel from the middle east and knew that their beliefs were dangerous. His jobs initative was part of same initative. See his 1977 speech. But with Clintons vp gore things started to change. The democrats conservative ideas have been replaced with EPA extremists who eliminate jobs in the us, keep the war machine going by sending money to the Middle East that we know are funneled to terrorist and muslim radical supporters, including a president thats brother does the investing for the Muslim brotherhood. When dems lost their conservative base they replaced them with bribes to the poor and entitlements to vote for them, promising immigrants start up monies in us, lying to young people, pandering to social rejects and the nanny crowd, ghost voting and expanding the green machine lies despite scientists even on the un council saying its not true. The dem party is now just a bunch of radicals, kids without experience, the uneducated, unmotivated, jealous class welfare extremists who cant be successful in their own lives and need someone to blame, tree huggers who serves gore and his buddies to make them richer (only one percent of billions spent in the us have produced anything, the rest ran off with the money and some are facing fraud charges), jobs in the energy section are nearly gone, towns, communities and families that once benefited from a friendly dem party are now bankrupt. So its no wonder that conservative dems like your dad and my dad have switched parties. Southern Illinois use to produce coal, Obama even promised to help them with futuregen but it was another election lie, the Appalachian mountains and ohio valley is bankrupt, the EPA has shut them down. 40 percent of our energy needs comes from coal which affects all of us. Given the emotional, intellectual, business, spiritual, energy, defense and foreign policy of the dems and their followers, the United States is close to lost. Womens rights will be eroded to that of the Middle East. It will take only a generation or two. Look at Iran and Afghanistan women rights in the 70s compared to now. One only has to look at our new population demographics, home terrorism, attack on our constitution and our schools to see. But many of us, like me and you, will keep fighting. But a lot of Americans,who can, are leaving the us. I will if things dont change in 2016. Sometimes kids need to be left to fail. hitlers Germany and most recently Egypt, was a wake up call to the world but most dems couldnt even tell you what happened there. They never learn from history. Sociolism has failed everywhere in the world, yet they embrase it. It brings a lot of saddness and pain to those that love their country and puts the world at risk when the light of good is dimmed.
