One of my favorite books is The Hobbit. I think its just a well paced and thought out story. The words jump from the page and bring you into a wonderful world of fantasy. Its a rather simple story in comparison with other Tolkien works but still really wonderful. So Im finally getting around to watching the newest hobbit film and within 30 minutes I want to turn it off. Theres nothing bad about the movie it is well written and interesting but it is NOT the hobbit. It has nothing to do with the book. It has the same characters and end goal but the story is the journey and this movie takes that journey then throws it away and invents one. Peter Jackson sucks. Im just very irritated about it. Hollywood ruins stories for profit. I guess Ill just finish watching it and pretend its just not the hobbit but a different story. For shame
