One of my favorite childhood memories was my Mrs. Beasley doll. I used to carry her around everywhere. I also had Muppet puppets. There was a large bay window in the dinning room of our Glen Ellyn home that was built in the early 1900s. It made a great stage. I would partially close the curtains and put on shows for the kids in the neighborhood. Mrs. Beasley always saved the day by stopping Bert and Ernie from beating the heck out of each other. I tried to charge five cents but no one would ever pay because the story line was always the same. Sweet Carolina dream friends.
