One of my favorites --had to post--in light of the current events and the doom and gloom associated with them...rejoice i say--again I say rejoice! Pardon the editorial--but I see two parts here, synergistic living--THINK and DO. Cooperation with His instructions, empowered by His Spirit. Our thoughts determine our lives...THINK on THESE things.... and then DO these things... --obedience to the instructions results in peace. Wonderful rhythm, wonderful balance. (THINK) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say (DO!), rejoice! (DO) Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. (THINK) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything (DO) by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, WILL guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (THINK about these things) Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these DO, and ---(BONUS!) the God of peace will be with you. Thank you St Paul...Philippians 4:4-9
