One of my good friends Phil Kaplan taught me about the 8 degrees - TopicsExpress

One of my good friends Phil Kaplan taught me about the 8 degrees of giving many years ago. One of the things I set out to do is to be generous on every occasion I am led. My love language is to give! The highest form of giving is helping someone become self sufficient so they feel needed and capable. That includes helping someone find a job or set them up in business. According to the 8 degrees of giving, this preserves their dignity, and at the same time transforms them from being a recipient into one with the capacity to give to others. Similarly, if you are in a position to counsel or give advice to someone, it is important to instill in them confidence in their own ability to find solutions to their dilemmas, and even be a source of strength to others. Ive figured out how I can give at the highest level for everyone. No experience necessary. Background or college degrees do not matter. If you have big dreams and a desire to succeed I would love to speak to you! chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/256321/jewish/Eight-Degrees-of-Giving.htm
