One of my most common annoyances on Facebook (or social media in - TopicsExpress

One of my most common annoyances on Facebook (or social media in general) is when people find the need to broadcast some form of political statement that they anticipate being enlightening or educational. Yet, their very statement is often demeaning or derogatory towards an entire group of people (and they do so fully aware of this fact). In most cases, not all mind you, the use of words like all when describing any group, be it cultural, ethic, or political is a form of prejudice. However, this isnt even my largest complaint. In America, you have every right to voice your opinion and attack an entire group if you think this somehow makes you a quality and rational person. With respect, in my not so humble opinion, it abolishes any potential contribution your statement may have had and instead I find you to be intolerable, of weak character, and close minded. It completely invalidates your entire statement. However, my real complaint is actually when an individual makes such posts but fail to use the words or grammar they structure their post with correctly. The good part of this is that most any person with a reasonable level of education reading such statements will automatically nullify any value in your words as well.
