One of my music professors from UCSB, Michel Marc Gervais, has been posting Opera clips for a cpl Wks now. Got me thinking about how most of my friends arent Opera Fans. Many have supportive enough to come to see me perform Classical music, but usually only like it bc their Buddy is performing it. So, Im gonna try to post a classical piece of music a few times a week, and post the pieces that made me fall in Love with it and pursue it. This piece below is an Aria from Daughter of the Regiment sung by the greatest tenor, and arguably greatest Singer, of all time, Luciano Pavarotti. This Aria will blow your mind. It has 9 High Cs(Super challenging tenor High Note). And he makes it sound easy. Im working on adding this aria to my rep, but I promise you, Ill NEVER be able to sing it like he does!!! Enjoy!
