The only times I have ever completed them, was with the help of my late and bad ass father! He never gave me any answers, however, he had a gift for reading the clues, in such a way that I could figure it out in minutes. I still remember the day I completed my first NY times crossword, with him reading out the clues, it was in 1996, while our family was in Atlanta for the summer Olympics. Not only did we see some epic gold metal sporting events, but I too, won some gold metal memories. . Only a matter if time, till I complete one, from my NY times crossword application.
