One of our first TripAdvisor reviews: “Great first ever diving experience!” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014 NEW I visited the Reef Dive Centre in April 2014 while I was staying on Ko Tao. I had never gone diving before but was interested in trying it out. Since I was only in town for a few days, I opted for the one day Discover Scuba session. We started out doing classroom style learning to familiarize ourselves with the basics and all of the equipment. Next, we suited up and headed over to the pool for some hands-on training. The instructors (Matt and Dave) were very attentive and helpful, and made everyone feel comfortable in the water. We took a quick break for lunch and in the afternoon we headed out for our two dives. The coral reefs and all of the different fish species were absolutely breathtaking, and I had a great time. The instructors are with you every step of the way, communicating with you using hand signals and making sure to point out all of the interesting sights! Once you are in the water, any nervousness just melts away and you really get to take it all in. I cant wait to go diving again and plan on getting my full Padi open water certification. Thanks to everyone at Reef for a great experience and sparking my interest in a new and exciting hobby. And a big shout out to Krista, the very awesome and very knowledgeable Reef Centre manager!
