My experience with Disappear Ink has been so much easier than I expected! I had two big tattoos that I wanted removed and the whole process was pretty daunting to start with. Although, after five minutes with Peter and Alexandra I felt completely fine. I had myself lathered up with LMX-4 numbing cream (which my anaesthetist father says is the best in the business and is offered to you on arrival) and the whole process was explained to me simply and concisely. Now the hard part – the actual procedure! My heart raced as Alexandra asked if I was ready for the first test shot! 3...2.... 1.... nothing! I couldn’t feel a thing. After waiting the recommended 45 minutes with the numbing cream and the added cool air to numb the skin I could not feel anything but the light zap of the laser which was completely bearable and comfortable (nothing like the feeling of laser hair removal or a tattoo). My fears about having the treatment done completely vanished and I actually find myself counting down to my next appointment! Its so great seeing the old tattoo fade away in front of my eyes. I have had three sessions on my tattoos now and am ready to finish treatment on one on my leg as it has faded more than enough for me to start planning a coverup tattoo. I am a tattoo artist so I often see people with horrible old tattoos that they want covered up. Often people are apprehensive towards laser removal because of the pain and cost. I am telling you though... without a few very bearable laser treatments you will not be able to really cover up you old tattoo and will forever regret just settling for a big, dark coverup. I recommend everyone looking for laser treatment to see Peter and Alexandra at Disappear Ink. It is pain free, comfortable, affordable and amazingly effective.
