One of our members had this guy at a Armed forces day in Bristol. Claimed he served 34 years in 2 Para.... He was wearing 5th airborne brigade and 16 Air Assault badges at the same time... Timberland boots, old style deserts, yet he said he left the Reg two years ago. Our member challenged him, service number? Didnt know it. Asked what a MOD 90 was, he didnt know! Didnt know what a FOB was in Afghan. Said he was on OP Telic in 1991??? Yeah cheers for that. Didnt know the answer to loads of basic Army questions. I then fired into him and he ran off... Walter Mitty!!!!!!! Anyone know him?
