One of our on-going Projects is Repairing the Windows at the Khmelnytskiy Berizka Baby Home - please think of the babies that are super cold this winter without these windows. Please read: Repairing Windows at Khmelnytskyi Berizka Baby Home Heidi McFarland and her husband adopted their son, Zachary, who was 6 years old at the time from the Khmelnytskyi Berizka Baby Home during the summer of 2011. Zachary joined four other siblings, with a fifth arriving last spring. While at the home, the McFarlands were struck with how kind the staff was to the children, even when they did not know anyone was looking. Particularly, Katerina Gorin, the director, had a very sweet spirit about her, and it is obvious that she genuinely cares about the children. Katerina does her best to provide for the children’s needs despite the very limited funds that the home receives. The orphanage has several maintenance and repair issues that need resolving. There have been past projects that worked to repair or replace some of the windows, but there are several more windows in multiple buildings that still need to be replaced. New, non-cracked windows that are sealed very well would be such a great blessing to the children. These windows would be especially wonderful in the winter, when the children need all the warmth they can get. Please read the rest of the story and observe windows at - life2orphans.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=683 Donations by check may be made to Life2Orphans, Inc., Khmelnytskyi Berizka Windows, 6420 E.
