One of the best kept secrets about the Brooklyn Grand Prix is that - TopicsExpress

One of the best kept secrets about the Brooklyn Grand Prix is that its one of the smaller shows. Why is that a good thing? Hmmm, you will not get lost in a crowd of 50 to 100 contestants in the same catagory. Which means there is a hell of a lot of less pressure on the contestant. If there are 3 top spots and only 10 to 15 contestants you have a much better chance of being seen. This is a very good thing because the judges for this show often times judge the larger NPC shows. The more you are seen on stage certainly gives these judges the impression that you are in this for the long run and they do watch your progress from year to year. This is called paying your dues. Of course being a smaller show, anyone can win and become a National Qualified Contestant. Remember you want to be seen and remembered. If there are 25 guys forming two lines on stage, you can get lost. Its much easier if there are only 10 to 15. Not so much confusion on stage. You also get to meet your competitors who can turn out to be very helpful with all kinds of tips from anything like suppliments to workouts and even the best place for deals on workout gear. This is the show you want to do, so I want to see alot of new faces at this years BROOKLYN GRAND PRIX. Its not about winning, but about the journey and the friendships you make along the way. Of course winning is always good and you have a better chance of being a winner here. The prize is the same as a huge show. You become nationally qualified. Just my two cents. Wayne
