One of the changes I have made since my wife passed away was my music. I have Sirius radios in the car and the shop now and I love oldies music and listen to it. Ive always listened to oldies but it was just the songs I had purchased or downloaded. Recently I bought quite a bit of new music because I heard it on the radio and remembered them from growing up in the 50s. In the last several weeks I have become sort of obsessed with The Fleetwoods and Duprees especially and I listen to them all the time in the house and Equinox. So while Im out in the shrine working I get to thinking every time I get to feeling bad Im listening to that music. So today, all day I have listened to nothing but 92.5 which is country music. I feel great. Had a very productive day. Best day in weeks I think. So now I think maybe the darn sad songs I like are messing me up! When I listen to up beat music I think I feel better. Any way Im off the oldies while I test this idea.....LOL.
