One of the greatest books I came across as a young boy in the University was "the secrets of mental magic" by Hernon Howard. In it, Howard engraved this illuminating line that has followed me, like the navel, till this day. Here it is: "The person who is honest with himself and shows minimum of self deceit, the man who exhibits a stable structure of character, the person with genuine maturity, is most true to himself, and as a result, most loyal to others." "Pretending to be someone you are not is a waste of the person you are." What are you, today? Now, set hypocrisy aside. What do you wish to become? What challenges do you have to overcome? Who do you know who is already the kind of person you wish to become? How can you relate with this person or get his Biography? How can you get the Biography of ten, or perhaps, twenty similar personalities? You become what you read, and what you keep reading. Also, you become the kind of person you associate with, that you keep associating with; especially when you keep reading their thoughts in books. Foremost is self honesty, and from thence flow sincerity, transparency and intensity of purpose. Self honesty is the pillar upon which an enduring structure of genuine prosperity is built.
