One of the greatest pop/rock albums ever recorded turned 49 yesterday, and it sounds just as great now as it did almost half a century ago. My moms absolute favorite Beatles LP, and one of my two favorites along with the equally magnificent and revolutionary Revolver (1966). Theres something on this album for everybody and for fans of each Beatle, and the bands joint creativity and songwriting were near their apex when this album first hit record shops on December 3, 1965.
