One of the hardest tests us reverts face when embracing Islam isnt learning to pray or recite verses from Quran, it isnt learning to read/write Arabic, it isnt fasting for Ramadan, the hardest test we face is losing our families and friends ... having them not being able to understand/support our decision to embrace this deen because it has been tarnished by the media. For now I dont wear jilbab but In shaa Allah in the future I will wear it full time when the times right. I still pray the 5 daily prayers and I will continue to attend lectures at HIYC. For all the new sisters I have added Assalamu alaikum you might recognize my face from my previous profile Khadija Amatuallah please if you see me at HIYC Dont hesitate to come and introduce yourself Fi sabilillah I love meeting new sisters. I do go to lectures from time to time at HIYC and have met some of you already For now I will continue to post Islamic reminders, those reminders are for myself before any of you. For the ladies who arent Muslim on my friends list please do not get offended by my posts they are not posted to offend anyone I dont judge anyone, their lifestyle or Religion I love meeting/befriending girls from all walks of life.
