One of the hottest debates between comic book fans is the lack of interconnectivity between Warner Bros. and DC Entertainments film properties and television properties (and even from one TV series to another). While Marvel Studios has an its all connected policy between its films and televisions series, DC shows still remain separate. Variety has posted this great article talking about the current plethora of comic book-based programming, and touch on thus debate. It adds the seal of approval of all those other cinematic franchises.” On the other side of the argument, DC chief creative officer Geoff Johns is adamant that their projects should remain separate, with no crossover between mediums. “We want to give freedom to creators… so that they can take their passion [and make] the best show, the best film, the best game without having to tie it into other things.
