One of the men we were visiting in the detention center was RELEASED TODAY!!! He stopped by the Casa for short rest before his journey home. He told me, The lady who was visiting me… she was incredible. Tell her thank you. Every day I woke up I just held on for one more day. And when she started visiting me, I started feeling hope again. As our time drew to an end he politely said, Im sorry, I dont want to offend you, but I really need to go outside. Ive been in a room with no windows for four months, so I just need to be outside right now. No offense AT ALL! Go outside and enjoy breathing fresh air and seeing the world!
