One of the most amazing things about being Native American is a sense of community and love without expectations. I have so much gratitude to the people in my life that have been there for me in the ups and the downs. Adam Beach is a huge advocate and supporter of all Native American people The quality that I admire about him is that he does not see other people, even any potential competition as a threat. He helps them. He has always been there for Shauna Baker & I whenever we needed help. As a woman, I am following this trail blazers motto. Im looking forward to my dear friend Qorianka Kilcher coming back to L.A. so we can start working on our movie together. This is a woman that most people see as me and my sisters direct competition. If you want to make it in this world then we have to help each other, not hold each other down. I dont believe in women hating other women. Or friends expecting things from friends. You do things for your friends out of love, not out of what you expect them to do for you.
