One of the most amazing things about vintage is about how some garments appear to have a magnetic or homing device quality about them. I found this rare 60s black velvet Gina Fratini dress a few months ago. As with all of my pieces, I fell in love. It has two patch pockets and I love a pocket! On another continent, I happened to find its matching opera coat which I stumbled upon randomly only a few weeks after securing the dress!
