One of the most unforgettable moments in my life was my wedding - TopicsExpress

One of the most unforgettable moments in my life was my wedding day. It was very special because I was marrying that one that I love, Gods precious gift and in the midst of it all, were my family and closest friends. This is one of the special times I really appreciated my dad. In fact, he wanted to sing for us. I clenched my fist because I knew this was the moment. Its not hard to let your son go to be wed; I think its a lot harder to let your dad go when he is moving on to a better place. Painful as it seems to lose him tragically, I know that letting him go (along with my entire family), is one thing that will change our lives forever. We are just holding on to Gods purposes, cherish the beautiful memories and continue to stay strong as a family. Dad walked me down the aisle with mom but I believe that angels escorted him up in the aisle of heaven. I have faith that he is home safe, smiling, chuckling and doing nothing less, than worshiping our Lord and Savior. I miss embracing you dad. I miss coffee and devotionals with you. I miss everything about you. REMEMBERING STEVE 1941-2014 Amazing husband, loving father, dotting grandfather, mentor, friend, confidante, businessman and education advocate.
