One of the things I love about our school is the traditions and rites of passage they bestow on the kids. Today Teener got pinned, she got a beautiful key pin with a green stone. She was instructed by the principal to wear it with pride. He said the key pin reflects leadership in the school and with leadership comes the responsibility of behaving in a manner reflective of good values. I feel as a parent we owe it to society to raise our children to be good, kind, caring people that contribute to the well being of the world. Thanks SPS for helping my husband and me with this part of the journey. Teener might be a bit of a well a teener at times but she has a good heart and is a child of God. We are very proud of her.
