One of the reasons we need your help to get the word out to Vote for Greene County Public Library is that you tell our story better than anyone. Susan Phelps posted this on our page a couple of days ago: I felt lucky and honored to have worked as a library clerk at the Beavercreek branch for about a decade. The staff and the patrons were great. I cannot stress enough how important it is for the kids alone to have the library and all the wonderful programs they offer. When some patrons become regulars you get to see how much they get out of these libraries. It is a safe environment that some teenagers might not have otherwise. The librarians are fantastic at helping people who might feel a little intimidated by all of the great things the library has to offer. Once people realize just how much the library has to offer in so many ways they will see the benefits it has to offer our public. Cutting hours, programs and the wonderful materials that are available to the public would be a shame! I still have a yard sign from a few years back when it was on the ballot and I will proudly be putting it up in my yard today!
