One of the things I enjoy most about being a Doorman is being able to help tourists find their way along the streets of Gotham. To me giving tourists direction with a smile with the words may you find your destination is very important because those tourists invested their more often times than not hard earned money to come visit the Big Apple and it greatly saddens me that us New Yorkers have become infamous to the world around as being cocky, stuck up, unapproachable jerks and when these tourists go back to their countries or states they visited from I want them to be able to go back home to their families filled with beautiful memories of the greatest city of them all and if unfortunately thats not the case I would at least want them to remember that one New Yorker was ready, willing and able to answer the call of distress of a weary traveler lost and helplessly wondering in Manhattan who had the class of giving them a little taste of confident New York Metropolitan flare.
