One of the worst kind of darkness to be in is SPIRITUAL DARKNESS. Many refused the light that God has given them, they grope for light, SEARCH BLINDLY while living in darknes. When you reject the LIGHT OF THE TRUTH when God send it to you, you sink deeper and futher into SPIRITUAL DARKNESS. Accept, embrace, believe, and obey the light that God has already given you, that qualifies you for more light from God. WHY SHOULD HE GIVE YOU MORE LIGHT WHEN YOU HAVE REJECTED AND REFUSE TO OBEY THE LIGHT THATS ALREADY BEEN GIVEN YOU? I am reminded what was said about the land Zabulon and Naphthalim, Matthew 4:15-16 KJV The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; The people which sat in darkness saw GREAT LIGHT; AND TO THEM WHICH SAT IN THE REGION AND SHADOW OF DEATH LIGHT IS SPRUNG UP. Then again I heard Jesus give the reason why many will not come to the true light, John 3:19-21 KJV And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
