One of those days where everything is against you and you cry because of the stress of being tired and dragging around a heavy posterboard. Then went to Living in Poverty event and feel like an utterly shit human. Mortified. 25 percent of children in bristol live in poverty. Their priorities are a warm winter coat, a pair of well fitting shoes and some fruit and veg each day. Learnt about the amazing things food banks do. Suspected it but never realised quite what an ignorant self-centered human I am. Easy to say I guess. Hope my attitudes towards those living with poverty for the range of reasons will actively change now.
