One of those days where you sit back and think... I am grateful for the people in my life. This year my goal was to be in shape 365 and to enjoy my fitness once again. Over the last few weeks I have become too consumed in my show preparations... It hasnt been enjoyable. Today I took a step back and reassessed things. I love fitness, I love being in shape and I love to enjoy my training. Over the last month I slipped back into training in ways that I dont enjoy as much and it has become tedious - until today when one of my best friends Dominic Busby reminded me to train in a way that I enjoy. This aint no show prep, This is just normal life now... Yeah I am on stage in 10 days time but life goes on after that. Life is to be lived, my training is my passion and it shouldnt become tedious! Today I went back in the gym and busted out a good old GVT squat session... 10 days out, not exactly ideal but whatever... I ENJOYED it! I am now sat in my garden high on life again... Fitness isnt just about how low your body fat is or how much muscle you have, sure its great to be lean and have lots of lean tissue but if you arent enjoying your training then you need to reassess your shit! Thanks for putting me back in line today Dom ❤️
