One of us ( me) is going to be absent for about 10 days....my once a year holiday, second of such in 5 years, lots of organisation and planning, to cover everything....but before I go I would like to share some stuff with you....This is important, I am going to be serious, deadly serious, because my involvement in alternative energy sources, although in my case its more the Clean tidal and wind technology, does lead me to find information other folk may overlook. Fracking....... aye, its a made up word that has results similar to the very sound of it!. I have attached a link to a 47 minute presentation from respected researchers, remembering that Fracking for Shale oil is nothing new, except in this country! It has been in existence as a process, although various tweeks have occurred , for over 60 years in the US.. We have in the last few days discovered that Westminster is selling of licenses for Scotland and England. Luckily the majority of Scotland does not rely on subterranean groundwater, but we have no ideas how much different the strategy may be in Scotland. All we know is that there have been concerns for some time over the side effects of the methodology, from basic contamination of ground to identified physical mutated characteristics in livestock. The latter especially is something we have very little knowledge about, not its long term knock on effects in the food chain. Watch the video, follow up reports from PHD Bamberger, and make up your own mind.....this is not something we can ignore...It is happening, but has not yet started. The closing date for applications for licenses is in 1 month! Please do spread this around and do your research, because we have little time. For anyone involved in animal welfare, agriculture and eating!...Aye I am serious, that means everyone, this is a horror story that is shaping up, never mind the house pricing and insurance issues....this does involve everyone.
