One question: You mad or nah? We all knew that the murder was - TopicsExpress

One question: You mad or nah? We all knew that the murder was going free. However, we choose to protest in the most crazy ways. So if we ask you not to go to Wal-Mart for a week, where are you? If we say dont buy gas for a day what do most of us do? My point is that we do nothing on one accord and we forget the things of the past that work. As a nation we have a problem. As a community we have a problem as well. Guess what people that do work in the community can say it. Teachers can say it. Preachers that work outside of their pulpit and work in the community can say it. Anybody laboring and living for the cause can say it. The law is not in the favor of minorities and the poor. So the poor encompasses my white sisters and brothers that live below the poverty line as well. So this means not only do you need to vote but you need to be in a position where you can stand up and demand a change in the law. Do you think Civil Rights Movement was about casting a vote or changing laws so that we could equally participate in the political system of this country? LAWS need to be changed and we need to vote people that will work in both the legislative and judicial branches to make that happen. Congress allowed the police access to militia equipment. There is no way in hell a police department should have that type of fire power. The Wilson idiot unfortunately was set free by his peers. However, until his peers rights are raped by the likes of him then it is open season on the negroes that cant keep their pants up or their music down. Now, I meant it and we can agree to disagree. We have never realized Dr. Kings Dream. One quick note, notice the attempts on Dr. Kings life were never successful until he began the Poor Mans movement. When will you realize that if that movement ever took off the middle class would still exist today. Oh it is too deep. Last thing we dont need to lose another child to the Beast of Police and the Others do what they want because they write laws. We need to teach our kids to at least die blameless so they wont be Trayvon or Mike. I hear the gasps and some folks stupidity. We need to make sure we are teaching our kids morals and character. Everyday I see shining examples of my personal friends loving and raising their kids the way they should and I see plenty of stupid begatting stupid everyday. All of our kids are not innocent and we cannot keep turning a blind eye to Johnny cussing your tail out at home and then going to school doing worse to a teacher. We have it happening and they are growing in numbers. I had a student walk off campus and tell other kids he was coming back to kill me first. He was a problem child from kindergarten up until 6th grade where he was 14. So forget what Rudy Giuliani had to say. I know we have a problem within our own race. How long are we going to keep blaming racism for our problems? It never left the scene, it just changed forms if that. When are we going to start understanding that to conquer the war outside that we must conquer the war within. We are responsible for oir kids education. Screw the Dept of Ed and the State Dept of Ed. Have you ever heard of AH Parker High, Stillman College, Spelmam, Tuskegee, and so many other institutions of learning? Hey guys these institutions are shining examples of what the negroe could accomplish when PWIs said no negroes. Why is it that we forget that we had it going on as a race. Does anyone remember Tulsa, Oklahoma and the Black Wall Street? Does anyone remember the act of terrorism that the US goverment commited against their own citizens? So why in the hell would you expect the government to give a damn about us or protecting us? It is our responsibility to protect ourselves, empower ourselves, and educate ourselves. So, my question now is what do we do other than cast a vote and listen to the Cos tell the poor negroe why he is always going to be impoverished? We need a plan. It starts at home. I hate that we have young black men that have to live in fear bc of what certified legal klansmen wearing badges and robes are legally doing and are going to continue to do to our young black men. Especially those that are poor. If you cant see that the laws need to be changed just like with slavery being abolished, the Womens Suffarge Movement and the Civil Rights Movement then Houston we have a problem.
