One question for medical doctors: As a medical doctor, is there - TopicsExpress

One question for medical doctors: As a medical doctor, is there a medication (any medication) you would feel comfortable prescribing to 100% of your patient population, with the belief that it is safe for all of them? If your answer is No, I would ask you to consider why vaccinations are considered to be safe for 100% of the pediatric population, without regard to individual differences or family history. Research indicates those children who are most likely to have severe adverse reactions to vaccines (including autism) are those who have family histories that are strongly positive for autoimmune disorders; especially in the mothers. This suggests there is something different about the functioning of the childs immune system that changes the way he or she responds when injected with vaccines, which are designed to ramp up the immune response. Children with autism have been found to have auto-antibodies to brain proteins (Neuron-axon filament protein and myelin-basic protein), indicating an autoimmune attack on the brain. At minimum, shouldnt we be applying the same caution with vaccines as we would with other medications? Or are those children who are part of the susceptible group just acceptable collateral damage?
