One thing I can say, the music from the 70s to 90s for da most - TopicsExpress

One thing I can say, the music from the 70s to 90s for da most part had much value, our younger generation with the music they have now are truly deprived of being #Blessed with #Greatness!!!!!!! Groups like #KoolAndTheGang #Maze #IsleyBrothers etc., we call old school, is timeless and will never die, just imaging 20 years from now a #Dj doing a #HappyHour Ol Skool Set and playing music by YoGotti, Lil Boosie, Lil Wayne, T.I., GucciMane, 2Chainz, etc. not knowing either to party, fight, or run for cover!!!!!! By being a Dj, its some music that I hate to play but if ppl requesting it, it is what it is, #BS at its best.........!!!!!!!!! SN: To all #DJs, when ur in da club working, playing #Thug #Thug #Thug music start to finish can and will always limit your check BC most ppl cant handle the music driving them hard like that all night!!! This will keep you non-stop looking for work, always keep transition records in your rotation for (3) main reason: 1.) Give the Ladies a chance to get on the floor, its #NOT a party with a bunch of dudes standing on the stage or dancefloor!!!!!!!. 2.) The Club needs this BC this how you increase their bar sales when the club is packed!!!!!!! 3.) Staying in a #TurnUp set too long can and will start trouble and kill the business!!!! Never be afraid to play a record catering to the #Ladies, BC I aint never seen a group of men walk out a club with a dancefloor full of ladies, IJS!!!!!!! As a DJ, while working in the clubs, men dont matter when it comes to music BC a party aint a party til ladies on the floor!!!!! We as #ClubOwners #Promoters #Djs #Fans etc. needs to start holding these SoCalled artist to a #Higher level and put out a better quality of music for today!!!!!! There is #Nobody I can truly say that is a #Rapper that would be Honored for a #LifeTimeAchievementAward and be honored on #BET.............., IJS!!!!
