One thing Ive noticed about this Ebola virus. The people that have been infected with this horrible disease were/are Nurses. I am not sure if people are really aware of what nurses do, but get sick and you will find out real quick. They were not just healthcare workers like whats being reported by the media in most cases. They are NURSES. The love of my life risk his life every time he puts on his uniform and a badge. He has my utmost respect for his chosen profession. He does it for the love of others. To help them and protect them in their time of need. As nurses thats exactly what we do every time we put our scrubs on and go to work. We do it for the love of others even though it could possibly put ourselves or families in harms way. We lay down our own life to help someone else. We help the sick no matter what the cost to ourselves. We hold the hands of the scared and dying, we hug the families that are hurting and we hold ourselves together when everyone else is falling apart, all the while we are either saving someone or sending them off to enter their eternity. Their are many professions that sacrifice for others. I just wanted to take a minute shine a little recognition to all my colleagues and co-nurses that go to work and provide the selfless care to people who need you. Even through the chance you could get sick yourself you do it anyway and its not just a paycheck. Its a calling. God chose you! Remember that when you walk into work. I wont tag each of you that this applies to because Im human and I will most definitely forget someone. But if you are in any profession that allows you to help others, (medical, law enforcement, teachers, ect) my hat is off to you and I will pray for your health, safety and protection everyday ❤ ️In these changing times and days of complete chaos in our World we all need to pray more and seek more of Jesus. Hes got this! No matter what he will protect his children. I tell Reagan everyday that there is no safer place in the world than when she is standing next to me. When we are at the hands of our father------> nothing can harm us.
