One thing common in players who beat the odds and fight their way - TopicsExpress

One thing common in players who beat the odds and fight their way out of tough situations is that they play point by point, game by game instead of focusing on what the odds based on situation are. They take situation no more than a variable guiding them what is the right thing to do in the next moment. They win some points, they loose some points. But they fight out the "pressure" by focusing on smaller unit of time and smaller unit of task. "Pressure of situation" mostly is rooted in awareness of how serious the consequences of our actions at an instance are. Or how serious implications the last point we lost had. But very often, forgetting this awareness is the best way out of situation, and best way to move on. Same logic can be applied in real life as well. We can be in serious crises. But we can keep our focus on what we can do in smaller units like hour by hour.. We will loose some hours, we will win some hours, but if we keep focused we can beat the situation out against the odds in months or years..
