One time I was hiking, and saw a somewhat small bear off the trail in the trees, maybe 50 feet away, and perhaps a 300 lb. bear. The bear told me that up ahead, there were some people who were doing what the bear does best (thats how he spotted it), and it looked like a homicide and he asked if I wanted to do anything about it. So I said, Yeah okay Mr. Bear, Ill handle this, show me where! and he took off at a gallop through the woods and I followed him almost as quickly, although he had to slow down a few times while I caught up. After handling the situation, apparently the guy was going to kill the girl and make it look like a hiking accident after getting a life insurance policy on her. He claimed it was the 3rd time hed done that and he kept gambling away all the money he got from the insurance at casinos and was in debt, and that his day job was life insurance salesman. I did ask him at one point why he didnt just fake the homicide in the paperwork and only commit the lesser crime of fraud, and he was all, Well, its too late for that, but it sounds like a good idea. After I solved the problem, I was chilling with the female, and the two females I had been walking with prior to seeing the bear walked up and were all wtf? and I was all yeah that guy was trying to kill this girl so the cops got called on one of their cell phones, and I was all, Lets finish the hike and they were like seriously, shouldnt we stop hiking due to this happening and I was all, if I stopped doing the activity every time I met some violent resistance, Id never get any activities finished. :P
