One very important thing when it comes to running comfortably is that of cadence. Most experts agree that it is better to have a higher cadence (amount of times your feet strike the ground per minute) and a shorter stride length. This promotes a running form in which the center of gravity is forward relative to where your feet are hitting thereby reducing what is known as Heel-strike. This occurs when your point of contact is actually in front of your center of gravity and is well...not good for the mojo. AT ALL...
