One week ago, we as a house all worked together to surge ahead on to first place. Our performance was spectacular, our teamwork was outstanding, and our spirit was beyond compare. For a week, the Ravenclaws have fought talon-and-beak for first place. Their efforts have intensified, but we have been able to hold them off. They must know that we will not hand over the lead so quickly. I encourage all Gryffindors to scroll through the messages on this page. There were times during the House Cup that we were almost 9,000 points behind the Ravenclaws. But weve fought - all day, every day - and finally on Wednesday of last week, we were able to surge ahead to first place. We have worked too hard for the House Cup to be pushed away. We have gone too far to be turned back at the last moment. This is why we must fight even harder for the House Cup. Make the choice to step up for Gryffindor by completing an extra lesson every day, cheering on a housemate, and/or helping a housemate in need. Its time to continue the momentum and enthusiasm from last weeks surge. Seize the day! Go Gryffindor! The House Cup is ours! - C
