One weird day. Had to go to NRHs this morning at 9am, so took a little extra time getting ready. Finally driving on FM 455 West and I witness a van almost hit a 700-800 lb heifer. I think ah sh-t. But the van misses and goes on. I am like - you cant leave. You need to help put the stinker up. But no - I heard the cow with my car onto a smaller road. We (Lucy and I) proceed to drive the car up the road. Finally find a gate and a truck shows up and he helps me put this cow in a secure location. Good deed done. Forward ahead. Sitting at my desk with the door open because the dogs want to lay outside in the sun. A bird comes flying in my office bounces off me into a window - collects itself and flies into my boss office. At this point, the JRTs are flying all over the place thinking varmint. Contain the dogs, find the bird set it free and all is calm - not. JRTs are sure it is still in here someplace. All I keep thinking is keep calm and own a JRT!
